I live in Farmington, Connecticut with my wife and three kids. Farmington is a quiet, green town, conveniently located half-way between New York and Boston.

I am co-founder and CTO of Wyng, a SaaS customer experience platform, and lead product management, software development, professional services, and technical support.

Prior to Wyng, I founded two SaaS companies as CTO and led them to successful exits (HubDialer and Sitebridge); I led product management and software development at eGain through its IPO; and I was a full stack developer at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Bell Communications Research.

I have been a full-time operating partner at Connect Capital, an early-stage VC affiliate of Insight Partners, and an early investor in Facebook, GoodData, TransactTools (acquired by NYSE), and Kaptur (acquired by AHALife). I am currently an L.P. in 500 Global, Avatar Global Capital Partners, Converge Ventures, and Boston Common Angels. I also hold four patents.

I have been living in Zurich since I was given the job of running IBM’s Zurich Research Lab more than 20 years ago. Although Zurich is home, I travel a lot for my job at ViaSat and I’m at home on all continents. I was actually the CEO of Vaiu Global in the early days and helped to shape some of the early beliefs and hypotheses being tested today. There’s a lot of work to do and great impact to make with this simple and useful technology.

I am non-executive director at Gojo & Company, Senior Fellow at the Fletcher School's Council on Emerging Market Enterprises at Tufts University, and an independent consultant.

During 2015-2020, I was co-founder and executive director at the Digital Frontiers Institute, a not-for-profit that develops professional development training courses around digital money and payments. Previously, I was Deputy Director in the Financial Services for the Poor program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Senior Advisor at the Technology Program at CGAP. I have been Director of Global Business Strategy at Vodafone Group, Executive VP of Marketing and Account Management at DoCoMo interTouch, and Senior Manager responsible for telecoms investments in Europe for Intel Capital.

I have undergraduate degrees in maths and economics from MIT and a PhD in economics from Harvard University. I have been Adjunct Professor at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

I live in Brussels where I have been since I joined SWIFT as CEO back in 1992. I left SWIFT in 2007 after a delightful career at the helm of the backbone of the free world’s financial system.

I have been a pioneer in payment technologies and the business of card processing for the past 25 years. One of my first companies was all about “pin-debit” online transactions. Purchased by PayByTouch in 2005, that company, ATM direct was a core asset of that visionary biometric payments company.

I live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas and am an active executive, advising financial technology startups and enterprises.

I develop products and scale companies. I live in Bordeaux, France, where I leverage my expertise to assist global clients in expanding their businesses from inception to exit. My primary focus is to put bleeding-edge technology and practices into use, and ensuring the foundations of strategic alignment, architecture, operations, and execution are robust, facilitating a smooth and efficient growth trajectory.
