John A. Farrell is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience leading product innovation, business strategy, and large-scale operations in the financial technology industry. Most recently, as Senior Vice President & General Manager at P97 Networks, he led 70% of the company’s business, overseeing product strategy, pipeline management, and strategic investments.
Previously, John served as Senior Vice President of Product and Technology at Volante Technologies, where he built and scaled the product management function, driving 80% year-over-year revenue growth. He also transformed the company’s engineering approach by implementing the Scaled Agile Framework and led the development of a multi-tenant payments engine.
John’s leadership roles also include Chief Technology/Product Officer at Visa Payments Limited, where he managed the integration of Visa’s banking network, oversaw a $100MM budget, and led the company’s technology through a successful acquisition by Visa. Earlier, he held senior roles at Finastra and CGI, driving significant revenue and operational improvements.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western New England College, where he was an Academic All-American in wrestling.
